DIPLOFACE at Summer School of Centre for Privacy Studies

Patrice Wangen held a guest lecture on the role of social media in modern diplomacy and the dynamic relationship between public and confidential aspects of international negotiations. At the summer school “Privacy Challenged in Past, Present and Future: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach,” the work of DIPLOFACE was put into historical context by, i.a., reflecting on the public/private life of Louis XIV in Versailles and its relation to performances of power and the state.
